BehindThePrice Uploader (“the app”) is a private tool operated by Michel Gonzalez to manage his own YouTube channels: Behind the Price, Detrás del Precio, Hinter dem Preis and Derrière le Prix. The app is used only by its owner.
Data the app accesses
With the owner’s permission through Google sign-in, the app uses these Google API scopes:
youtube.uploadandyoutube.force-ssl: to upload videos, thumbnails and subtitles and to update titles, descriptions, playlists and channel branding on the owner’s channels.yt-analytics.readonly: to read view counts, watch time and traffic sources for a daily performance report.
How the data is used and stored
- Data is used only to publish and manage the owner’s own videos and to produce reports for the owner.
- Sign-in tokens and statistics are stored only on the owner’s own computer. They are not uploaded to any other server.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
- The app does not access other people’s YouTube accounts, comments or personal data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The app’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local token files removes all stored access.
